We're Hiring: Fulfillment Specialist
About Us
Kyn You Believe It (KYBI) is a stationery and gift brand centered on mental health and self-care. We’re a small team known for quality products and great customer service, and we maintain a presence through several sales channels including our website, Etsy, TikTok Shop, and wholesale to independent retailers.
Position Overview
The fulfillment specialist is in charge of keeping orders running smoothly. You’ll own the process between when an order is placed and when it goes out the door – safely packed and ready for an enjoyable unboxing. While no fulfillment experience is necessary (you’ll be trained on written SOPs), priority consideration will be given to applicants with prior order fulfillment experience.
Details
- Location: Lockhart, TX (in-person)
- Status: part-time employee
- Schedule: 12-16 hours/week, see "scheduling" for more info
- Compensation: $16/hr while training, bumped quickly to $18/hr after training is complete (2-4 weeks). Higher pay available based on experience!

Responsibilities
- Pull, prep, and pack direct-to-consumer and wholesale orders accurately and on time
- Print labels/packing slips and process shipments in ShipStation
- Answer customer service emails and make order edits as needed
- Keep shipping stations stocked and tidy, communicating restocks as needed
- Follow SOPs (standard operating procedures) as written and communicate gaps to Kyndra

Assist with quality control and inventory monitoring when order volumes are light
Scheduling
- Our current fulfillment schedule is Monday/Wednesday/Friday, 9a-1:30p, and our ideal candidate will be able to match this schedule
- If adjustments are needed to the schedule, we're happy to create something that's flexible but consistent, meaning we'll work around your schedule to determine the best shift times, then shifts will be consistent from week-to-week
- Applicants must have availability beginning the week of November 2 with minimal scheduling adjustments through December 18 (excludes Nov 26-27, which is time off for the KYBI team)
- This is a long-term role with room to grow, but November through January is our busiest season, and we could really use the help. If you’re looking for seasonal work, you’re welcome to apply. At a minimum, we ask that you can commit through mid-January.
You’re a great fit for this role if you…
- Live within driving distance of Lockhart, TX
- Notice small details and like to double-check your work
- Feel comfortable working on your own while following a pre-established process
- Communicate early and like asking questions
- Can be on your feet for long stretches of time and lift 25 pounds
- Enjoy predictable, repetitive work while listening to audiobooks, podcasts, or music
Not required, but definitely a plus if you have…
- Experience in order fulfillment
- Experience with ShipStation and/or any of our sales channels (Shopify, Etsy, TikTok Shop, and Faire)
- Good handwriting, for our personalized inserts!
- A strong understanding of KYBI as a brand before applying
