Say hello to Kyn You Believe It's very own newspaper! The Scoop is a mail club created for the people who miss snail mail and feeling connected beyond a screen. It's part community-building, part behind-the-scenes, and part creative-playground – all it's missing is YOU!

The Scoop is designed to complement The Believer Box and ships in opposite months. This is a softer place to land, and I'm looking forward to connecting with you on paper!

if you could see it IRL:

  • 9 x 12 inch newspaper
  • 4 pages of fun, printed on heavyweight newsprint paper
  • optional coloring sheets are 5.5 x 8.5 inches, printed on thick, 100 lb paper

The Scoop is a printed newspaper with:

  • behind-the-scenes updates and studio stories from KYBI
  • personal updates from Kyndra, like book recommendations and favorite small business friends
  • a letter from the editor (because Kyndra wants to be pen pals with everyone; feel free to write back!)
  • space dedicated to celebrating folks and retailers in the KYBI community

You can also choose to join Pen You Believe It, where you’ll be paired with someone else in the KYBI community to exchange letters the old-fashioned way. (The Scoop will provide prompts and a pen pal calendar.)

For an extra creative spark, be sure to add on monthly coloring sheets (additional $2/month).

  • the scoop ships between the 15th-20th of each odd-numbered month
  • upon checkout, you are immediately charged for your first issue
  • if subscribed on an issue-by-issue basis, you will be charged on the 1st of odd-numbered months.
  • year-by-year subscriptions renew on the 1st of the same month the following year
  • subscriptions may be canceled anytime

PLEASE NOTE: billing cycles reset on the last day of even-numbered months.

If you purchase an issue at the very end of an even month (for example, April 30), you will be charged for that issue immediately and then be charged again the next day for the upcoming issue. In this example, the April order (March's issue) would ship right away, and the May order (May's issue) would ship between May 15-20.

The Scoop is a four-page KYBI newspaper filled with different sections that celebrate creativity, community, and the little things. While the exact content may change from issue to issue, you can expect features like:

  • Front Page Highlights: exciting updates, announcements, and what’s happening around KYBI
  • Pen You Believe It: my personal pen pal letter to all subscribers
  • Pen Pal Corner: a pen pal calendar and pen pal prompts
  • Kyndra & Trey Recommend: book recommendations from me and movie picks from Trey
  • A Little Laugh: a silly joke from someone in the KYBI community, with a cute drawing from Amaya or Kyndra
  • Community Spotlight: highlighting KYBI retailers and small business friends we love
  • Happy Things: good things happening in Kyn You Believer lives

The Scoop ships between the 15th-20th of each odd-numbered month (January, March, May, July, September, and November).

When you subscribe, you’ll be charged immediately for the current issue. After that, you’ll be billed on the 1st of each odd-numbered month (January, March, May, July, September, and November) for the next issue.
